1)Kerala Filed a Plea to ban an Organization named PFI :

PFI stands for Popular Front of India, a Muslim organisation that is mainly operating out of the Kerala State.

Kerala filed the Plea in the Annual meet of DGP's which was organised at Tekanpur , Gwalior.

Kerala Police Chief gave the reason the PFI members were involved in Criminal Activities in the state. This made it an unlawful association.

Prasar Bharati is Indian Public Service Broadcaster and it is India's largest public broadcasting agency.

It is an autonomous body set up by an Act of Parliament and comprises Doordarshan Television Network and All India Radio, which were earlier media units of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Prasar Bharati is a statutory autonomous body established under the Prasar Bharati Act and came into existence on 23.11.1997. It is the Public Service Broadcaster of the country.

Shashi Shekhar Vmpati is the Current CEO of PRASAR BHARTI.

To counter corruption and speed up decision- making in military procurement, the government of India in 2001 decided to set up an integrated DAC.
It is headed by the Defence Minister.

The objective of the DAC is to ensure expeditious procurement of the approved requirements of the Armed Forces, in terms of capabilities sought, and time frame prescribed, by optimally utilizing the allocated budgetary resources.

5)Jogighopa to become India’s new gateway to South-East Asia:- Jogighopa, a small town in Assam, is set to become India’s gateway to South-East Asia as well as the rest of the North-East with the road ministry gearing up to develop a multimodal logistics park (MMLP) there with road, rail, waterways and air transport facilities.

Jogighopa is a small town located on the banks of the Brahmaputra River in the Bongaigaon district in the state of Assam.
