1)There was News About INS - ARIHANT :- India’s first nuclear powered ballistic missile submarine.
10 Months ago it was damaged when water entered into its propulsion chamber. It has still not been fixed.

INS Arihant is an important part of the Nuclear Triad. India is only the 4th Country to have such a Nuclear Triad. (After US, Russia, China)


Nuclear Triad means ability to deploy Nuclear weapon via Land , Air and Water.

2)First All India Whips Conference was held in:- Indore (1952)
18th Whips Conference will be held in:Udaipur organized by Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.

Some Facts :- 

3)World’s largest residential university for women’s education:- Banasthali University founded by Shri Hira Lal Shastri and Ratan Shastri.

Flight Lieutenant Avani Chaturvedi first women fighter pilots of India studied in Banasathali University. (Avani Chaturvedi is from Rewa (my birth Place).

4)Sammakaa- Sarakka / Saralamma Jatra :-It is the biggest tribal festival in Asia.

Sammakka Saralamma Jatara or also known as the  Medaram Jatara.

Celebrated by Koya tribe of Medaram district in Telangana.

Why Celebrated?:- Narrative of two tribal women leaders who fought against the Kakatiya rulers who tried to annex their land and forests.

According to mythology it was Samakka’s curse that resulted in the gradual decline of the Kakatiya rule.  

5)Vanaj:- Vanaj is a tribal dance and music festival which has been declared as the national festival.
