1)The Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS) of the Ministry of Earth Sciences here inaugurated the Ocean Forecasting System for Comoros, Madagascar, and Mozambique at the third Ministerial Meeting of Regional Integrated Multi- Hazard Early Warning System for Asia and Africa (RIMES), held at Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

What will be the Use of this Ocean Forecasting System :- 
Which User Groups would be Benefitted:- Users like fishermen, coastal population, tourism sector, coastal defence officials, marine police, port authorities, research institutions and offshore industries of these countries.

What Services will be Offered :- These ocean services are aimed towards safety at the sea. The system would offer oil spill advisory services, high wave alerts, port warnings, forecast along the ship routes in addition to tsunami and storm surge warnings and help in search and rescue operations.

2)‘JAM’ will end exclusion: Jaitley :- 

What is JAM:- “JAM, a term coined, and a vision conceptualized, by our Chief Economic Adviser, is nothing short of a social revolution because it has brought together financial inclusion (PMJDY), biometric identification (Aadhaar) and mobile telecommunications.

Some Important Inclusion Facts that can be directly Quoted in Mains Answer Writing :- Today, about 52.4 crore unique Aadhaar numbers are linked to 73.62 crore accounts in India.

3)Under-employment severe in India: NITI :-

What is Under-Employment:-Labor that falls under the underemployment classification includes those workers who are highly skilled but working in low paying jobs, workers who are highly skilled but working in low skill jobs.

Background:- NITI Aayog has released its 3 Years Action Agenda , which will take place from 2017-18 to 2019-20.
Overall there is 3 Years Agenda, 7 Years Strategy and 15 years vision( Since Now the 5 Years Plans have stopped).

So in 3 Years Agenda document NItI AAyog has said The more serious problem, instead, is severe underemployment.

What Should be done:- What is needed is the creation of high-productivity, high-wage jobs.
Entrepreneurship Schemes need to generate Results. Since they create more and more Jobs.(Start-up India)
The ‘Make in India’ campaign needs to succeed by manufacturing for global markets.

4)Justice Dipak Misra will be the 45th CJI of India.

5)Myanmar crisis: Thousands of Rohingyas gather at Bangladesh border as fresh fighting erupts in Rakhine state :- 

Fighting erupted in Myanmar's northwestern Rakhine state between Rohingya insurgents and security forces.

Who are Rohingyas:- The Rohingya people are Muslim Indo-Aryan peoples from the Rakhine State, Myanmar.
They claim to be original residents of Rakhine state but  The official stance of the Myanmar government, however, has been that the Rohingyas are mainly illegal immigrants who migrated into Arakan following Burmese independence in 1948 or after the Bangladesh liberation war in 1971.
