1)Hyperloop was in News:-

What is Hyperloop:-Hyperloop is a proposed mode of passenger and freight transportation that would propel a pod-like vehicle through a reduced-pressure tube that would exceed airliner speed.

What was the News:- The Pod Design Competition, to be held in August at Hawthorne, California by the company SpaceX.

Hyperloop India, the only team in the country to reach the final design stage, will build the OrcaPod, a prototype for speeds of up to 460 km per hour.

The Hyperloop system is proposed by inventor businessman Elon Musk of SpaceX.



2)Karmapa’s travel curbs to go:-
News not that much important , Just Remember Who is a karampa :-

The Karmapa is the head of the Karma Kagyu school, one of the four main schools of Tibetan Buddhism and is based in Dharamsala.

Then Remember Rumtek monastery is in East Sikkim.
Tawang Monastery is in Arunachal Pradesh.

What is the News:- Urgyen Trinley Dorje, the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa, may be allowed to visit any place in the country, except Sikkim, without seeking the government’s permission.

3)RCEP was in News:- 

What is RCEP :- Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) is a proposed free trade agreement (FTA) between the 10 member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam) and the 6 states with which ASEAN has existing free trade agreements (Australia, China, India, Japan, South Korea and New Zealand).

RCEP negotiations were formally launched in November 2012 at the ASEAN Summit in Cambodia.

Why in News:- India upset over slow progress on services talks in the RCEP.

4)Dr. Mahesh Sharma Inaugurates an Exhibition ‘Return of the three stone Sculptures from Australia to India’.

The exhibition is organised to mark the safe return of three stone sculptures (Seated Buddha, Worshippers of  Buddha, Goddess Pratyangira) from Australia to India. These sculptures were purchased by National Gallery of Australia from the Nancy Wiener, New York in 2007 and Art of the Past, New York, 2005.

5)Ministry of Power, Coal, New & Renewable Energy and Mines launched the Saral Eindhan Vitaran Application (SEVA), developed in-house by Coal India Limited (CIL) for power sector consumers.
App is Aimed at increasing the Consumer Connect as well as the Transparency and Accountability in Coal dispatch.
