1)Fortiied foods to tackle malnutrition:- 

What is Malnutrition:- Lack of proper nutrition, caused by not having enough to eat, not eating enough of the right things/balanced diet.
Sometimes the Food is also deficient in various Micronutrients like Iron , Zinc and that also leads to Malnutrition. Similary Vitamin Deficiency in the Food.

For instance, iron deficiency leads to critical problems during pregnancy, and not enough Vitamin A can lead to poor vision, infections, and skin problems.

What is Food Fortification:- Food fortification or enrichment is the process of adding micronutrients (essential trace elements and vitamins) to food which may or may not be earlier present in the food.

FSSAI released a set of Standards and measures regarding Fortification.

About FSSAI:- Food Safety and Standards Authority of India is an autonomous body established under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare The FSSAI has been established under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.



2)News Regarding Great Indian Bustard:- The Rajasthan government will set up a captive breeding centre for the great Indian bustard in an attempt to boost the wild population of the country's most critically endangered bird.

Conservation will take place from 2 facilities :- Captive Breeding Centre at Kota and Hatchery at Jaisalmer.
GIB is the State Bird of Rajasthan.


3) Tarang Sanchar Web Portal and App:- To Know about the details about the  Mobile Towers located in an area. Also EMF(Electromagnetic Field) Emission Compliances.

It is a Department of telecommunication, Under Ministry of Communication initiative.

4)Odisha forest staf learn how to trap monkeys from Mankidia tribesmen:- 

Background:- Faced with rising incidents of monkeys raiding vegetable gardens, invading homes and attacking villagers in coastal Odisha.

Since monkeys are a protected species under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, any attempt to kill the simians invites strong penalties.

Mankidias, a semi-nomadic primitive tribal group (PTG) from Odisha are experts in catching Monkey.They hunt monkeys for Food. 

5)Turkey supports India’s UNSC bid:- Erdogan, The Turkish President is in India , He is extending Full Support for India's UNSC Bid.

Jamia Millia Islamia on Monday conferred the Degree of Doctor of Letters (Honoris Causa) to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

6)Scientists have observed an Unique Decadal Swing in the North Indian Ocean.

Decadal Swing here refers to the Rise and Fall in the North Indian Ocean Sea Level.

Scientists say such a ‘decadal swing’ in north Indian Ocean is unique and never observed in others.

What is North Indian Ocean:- The NIO consists of the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal and part of the Indian Ocean up till the 5°S latitude.



6)Nepal’s irst woman Chief Justice suspended:-
Name :- Sushila Karki was suspended after n impeachment motion.

Why?:- Accusations of bias and interfering with executive powers.

7)SpaceX makes First U.S. military launch:- SpaceX on Monday blasted off a secretive U.S. government satellite, known only as NROL-76.

SpaceX is headed by Elon Musk.

8)Govt. is celebrating 1000 Years of Ramanujacharya's Birth.
Ramanujacharya was  born in 1017 AD.


  • Ramanuja gave the Philosophy of VishishtAdvaita in the 11th Century AD.(Qualified Monism)


  • Before Him Adi SHankaracharya Gave the Philosophy of Advaita.(Monism)


  • Then Madhavacharya gave the Philosophy of Dvaita(Dualism).


9)“One IP- Two Dispensaries” Scheme Launched For Labour Welfare:- Under One IP- Two Dispensaries scheme ESIC has given an option to an Insured Person (IP) to choose two dispensaries, one for self and another for family through an employer.

    Kathakali dance-

    1) Kerala
    2) It is a story play derived from hindu epics and puranas
    3) It's roots can also be found in Kutiyattam and religious drama of southwestern India
    4) Includes Music, Vocal performance, hand and facial gestures,footwork,costumes.
    5) Traditionally, it was performed by all male groups.

    Philosophy--

    Advaita bya Shankaracharya

    1)brahman is the fundamental reality
    2)brahaman=pure existence,pure consciousness,pure bliss

    Dvaita by Madhavacharya

    1) Vishnu as Brahman,supreme self
    2) Dependent but equally real universe that exist with its own seperate essence.



    Vishishta Advaita by Ramanuja

    1)Non dualism- Brahman alone exist,but is characterized multiplicity.
    2) Qualified monism.
    3) upanishads, Bhagwadgita, Brahmasutras are to be interpreted in a way that shows unity in diversity.
