1) As the Teamperature in the Summer has started to rise up, The India Meteorological Department, along with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), is exhorting the States to implement Heat Wave Action Plans.

What is Heat Wave :- A Heat Wave is a period of abnormally high temperatures, more than the normal maximum temperature that occurs during the summer season in the North-Western parts of India.

When Temperature Exceeds 5 degrees From the Normal Temperature of 40 degrees in Plain Areas and the Normal Temperature of 30 degrees in Hilly Areas then we say Heat wave is there.

About NDMA:- 

National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is an agency of the Ministry of Home Affairs whose primary purpose is to coordinate response to natural or man-made disasters and for capacity-building in disaster resiliency and crisis response.

NDMA was established through the Disaster Management Act enacted by the Government of India in December 2005.

The Prime Minister is the ex-officio chairperson of NDMA.

4)Current Status of BITCOINS:- Centre has made it clear that RBI has still not approved the use of Bitcoins.
Also RBI has warned about the possibility that Bitcoins can be used or Money Laundering etc.

What is Bitcoin?:- Bitcoin is a form of digital currency, created and held electronically. No one controls it. Bitcoins aren't printed, like dollars or euros – they're produced by people, and increasingly businesses, running computers all around the world, using software that solves mathematical problems.

5)Clock ticking on Dylan’s Nobel prize money:- 
Background:- Nobel Prize for Literature for 2016 was won by Bob Dylan.

What has happened Now:- The Swedish Academy has warned that Nobel literature laureate Bob Dylan has until June 10 to deliver the traditional Nobel lecture, in order to receive the eight million kronor (₹5.9 crore) that comes with the prize.

The lecture, which can take nearly any form including a short speech, a performance, a video broadcast or even a song,must be held within six months of December 10, the date of the Nobel prize ceremony.

6)Price Stabilization Fund (Taken From PIB) :- The Price Stabilization Fund (PSF) was set up in 2014-15 under the Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Famers Welfare (DAC&FW) to help regulate the price volatility of important agri-horticultural commodities like onion, potatoes and pulses were also added subsequently.

The PSF scheme was transferred from DAC&FW to the Department of Consumer Affairs (DOCA) w.e.f. 1st April, 2016.

The scheme provides for maintaining a strategic buffer of aforementioned commodities for subsequent calibrated release to moderate price volatility and discourage hoarding and unscrupulous speculation. For building such stock, the scheme promotes direct purchase from farmers/farmers’ association at farm gate/Mandi.
